The recently built Porto Marina di Francavilla, a small but functional facility at the mouth of the Alento river, was designed and created to offer boaters a safe harbour and the warmest welcome. Here, visitors can find everything they need to enjoy their passion for the sea, from simple mooring to technical assistance.
It currently has a capacity of 95 berths for small and medium-sized boats of up to 11 metres. Services offered include surveillance, haulage and the possibility of hiring sailing boats, canoes, SUP boards and kayaks.
The marina’s activities are carried out in collaboration with nautical clubs, sports and cultural associations, and beach clubs, making it an increasingly important point of reference for the whole community of Francavilla al Mare.
It also hosts cultural, sporting and entertainment events, including the summer festival Ondavilla, with concerts, family shows and water sports performances.
