The Filosofia al Mare association, in collaboration with the Municipality of Francavilla al Mare and with the patronage of the Abruzzo Region, presents its annual cultural event once again: an occasion filled with knowledge and the scent of the sea.
This year’s edition of Filosofia al Mare will take place from 9 to 12 July in Piazza Sirena, marking the 17th edition of the festival. Created from an idea by Professor Carlo Tatasciore, the festival offers meetings and reflections each year on highly topical issues. Since its inception, the enthusiastic participation of leading figures from the world of philosophy has ensured a high-quality programme and helped engage an increasingly wide, attentive and motivated audience.
The theme of the 2026 edition will be “Conversations on Democracy”, explored through contributions from distinguished figures in the philosophical and intellectual world, who will address the subject from different perspectives.
