Shock Wave Festival is the largest music event ever held on a beach in Abruzzo and, over the years, has become an important occasion for gathering and music for the whole community, thanks both to its strong public appeal and to the quality of the guest artists.
Born from the collaboration between the Municipal Administration and the association Zona Futura, the festival has welcomed some of the leading names on the Italian music scene over the years, with a series of performances featuring artists such as Tommaso Paradiso, Pinguini Tattici Nucleari, Coez, Tananai, Irama, Gabry Ponte, Gazzelle and many others.
The 2026 edition is preparing to renew this tradition with a show set to leave its mark. The headline act will be Caparezza, who will perform on 18 July: one of the most original and best-loved artists on the Italian scene, capable of combining energy, creativity and thought-provoking lyrics. His presence perfectly embodies the spirit of the festival: engaging, wide-ranging and able to speak to different audiences.
Completing the programme, Frah Quintale and Maria Antonietta & Colombre will take to the stage on 17 July, while 19 July will see Gemitaiz close the festival with an evening dedicated to rap and great contemporary music.
